Directions

  1. Place the fresh basil at the bottom of the blender and pour the tomatoes on top.
  2. Pulse until basil and tomatoes are well combined.
  3. Pour the olive oil in a medium pan and sautee the onions for about 3 minutes on medium to low heat. Careful not to burn them!
  4. Next, add garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour the tomato/basil mixture into the pan and add a pinch of salt & pepper.
  6. Bring sauce to a boil on high heat. Lower heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
