Ingredients
- 4 TBS of Finely Chopped White Onions
- 1 Clove of Garlic, Minced
- 1/3 cup loose fresh basil
- 1 Can of San Marzano Plump Peeled Tomatoes (28 or 32 OZ Can)
- 3 TBS of Olive Oil
Directions
- Place the fresh basil at the bottom of the blender and pour the tomatoes on top.
- Pulse until basil and tomatoes are well combined.
- Pour the olive oil in a medium pan and sautee the onions for about 3 minutes on medium to low heat. Careful not to burn them!
- Next, add garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour the tomato/basil mixture into the pan and add a pinch of salt & pepper.
- Bring sauce to a boil on high heat. Lower heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
