Spaghetti Squash

Spaghetti Squash with Sabatino's Marinara Sauce

  1. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and use a spoon to remove the seeds and pulp.
  2. In a shallow glass Pyrex dish, put a 1/4 inch of water in the bottom.
  3. Microwave the spaghetti squash cut side face down for 5 to 9 minutes on power high. It depends on the size. BE CAREFUL, THE SQUASH IS EXTREMLY HOT TO TOUCH.
  4. Once cool to touch, scrape the squash using a fork. It should scrape easily and resemble spaghetti.
  5. Add the marinara sauce and mix together. Top with optional ricotta and parmesan.
